Acrylic paint and collage on canvas

25cm x 25cm

In this work, identity is no longer something imposed, but something chosen. Through a faceted headdress and layered fragments, the figure reflects a woman shaped by time, experience and change. Hints of text and colour suggest the noise she has moved through, while butterflies signal ongoing transformation. Rooted in the landscape of menopause, this piece speaks to a quiet authority- where visibility is no longer demanded, but claimed, on her own terms.
