Two gulls at dusk, the sky aglow,
One leans in with a gossip flow.
The other’s caught mid-sneaky sip,
A straw protrudes from tilted lip
No wine, no gin, just something blue,
A seaside mix? A wave or two?
Their toes curl tight on café tile
Their eyes both guilty and full of guile
No rules apply when day is done,
Just peck and sip and chase the sun.
