This small yet striking 15cm x 20cm piece blends painted intensity with the layered texture of collage. The gorillas’ expressive, unamused gaze meets the viewer head-on, a mix of weary wisdom and quiet resistance. Torn edges of newspaper text frame the portrait, adding a whisper of outside chatter-noise that the subject seems entirely unwilling to entertain. A flash of bold orange slices through the cool blues, creating a jolt of tension that’s impossible to ignore. The single word “HELLO” peeks from the collage, offering an ironic counterpoint to the expression: a polit e greeting from someone clearly done with the day’s nonsense. Refunds are offered to customers who received the wrong artwork or damaged artwork.
If the artwork is damaged when it arrives, you should contact us within 24 hours to report this, or not accept the package if it arrived damaged at your address.
To qualify for a refund, please provide us with photos of the wrong or damaged artwork. In addition, the artwork must be returned to us at your expense within seven days of you receiving it. The artwork should reach us in the same condition we sent it you, in its original packaging.
