The Thought that Flew captures the glorious chaos of a menopausal mind doing exactly what it wants- usually at 3 a.m. A bright green bird launches from her hair like the kind of thought that arrives uninvited: dramatic, urgent, and slightly unhinged. Around her, clipped text fragments swirl like the daily commentary she never asked for- advice, opinions, ancient expectations, and the occasional completely irrational worry. Her closed eyes say, ‘just five minutes please’, as she tries to hold onto one coherent idea before it flaps away too. This portrait celebrates the humour in hormonal havoc: the forgetfulness, the mood swings, the sudden clarity, and the unapologetic power of a woman who’s simply done pretending she has it all together.

Refunds are offered to customers who received the wrong artwork or damaged artwork.
If the artwork is damaged when it arrives, you should contact us within 24 hours to report this, or not accept the package if it arrived damaged at your address.
To qualify for a refund, please provide us with photos of the wrong or damaged artwork. In addition, the artwork must be returned to us at your expense within seven days of you receiving it. The artwork should reach us in the same condition we sent it you, in its original packaging.
