We celebrate bloom and brilliance, often turning away when the edges curl and colours soften. Yet withering is not failure; it simply another stage of becoming. Seed heads remain after petals fall. Bent stems still hold grace. Even in decline, there is texture, memory and unexpected beauty.
Bright Things Also Wither reflects impermanence and the quiet dignity of change. It asks us to look again at what we are so quick to dismiss and recognise that transience does not diminish worth. Some things are no less beautiful for being temporary.
